Ambassador Mochizuki Meets with the Hon. John Pundari, Minister of Police

On May 1, Ambassador Mochizuki had a meeting with the Hon. John Pundari, Minister of Police, Papua New Guinea.
1.Hon. Pundari explained Ambassador Mochizuki on the current situation and challenges related to public security and police administration in Papua New Guinea. The two sides also exchanged views on further strengthening cooperation between Japan and Papua New Guinea in the field of policing and other related areas.
2.In response, Ambassador Mochizuki expressed his sincere gratitude to Hon. Pundari for the efforts made by the Royal Papua New Guinea Constabulary in ensuring the safety and security of Japanese nationals residing and visiting in the country. Ambassador Mochizuki also reaffirmed Japan's strong commitment to supporting the stability and development of Papua New Guinea, and both sides agreed to further strengthen and deepen the bilateral relationship between the two countries.
