Fraudulent Japanese Scholarship Information


  1.    According to reports, an unknown organization is sending emails or putting advertisement on internet inviting students to apply for Japanese Government Scholarship.
  2.    Those who contacted that organization were requested to transfer money as deposit.
  3.    Please be alert of the above case and for further information, do not hesitate to contact the Scholarship Section of the Embassy of Japan on telephone number 3211800.
  4.    All Information and Application for the scholarship are free of charge and released only by Japanese Embassies or Universities overseas. Application forms for 2014 Japanese Government Scholarship (MONBUKAGAKUSHO:MEXT) will be available at the Embassy in April 2013.
