Handover Ceremony of Tale bridge to Enga Province

On 12th October, 2019, Ambassador of Japan to Papua New Guinea, Mr. Satoshi Nakajima, officiated in a ceremony to open Tale bridge in Wapenamanda district, Enga Province.
Under this project, a permanent steel frame Bailey bridge was constructed to replace a wooden makeshift bridge. Tale Bridge is the second bridge in Wapenamanda that has been funded by Japan. The first was Timin Bridge, which was officially opened in 2016.
