Notice(Visa exemptions for PNG Diplomatic/Official passport holders)

This is to advise that the Government of Japan has been taking the following measures from Tuesday, 24th November 2015 based on the mutual visa relaxation arrangement between Japan and Papua New Guinea.
Nationals of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea in possession of valid diplomatic or official passports, seeking entry into Japan for the purpose of diplomatic or consular functions or official duties (including their family members forming part of their households with the said passports) may enter Japan without obtaining a visa irrespective of the duration of stay in Japan.
