Public Seminar ‘PNG-Japan Relations: Looking Beyond Donor/Recipient Relationship’

Mr. Barnabas Orere, a special features correspondent of Post-Courier Newspaper, lectured on the relationship between Papua New Guinea and Japan in a public seminar held at the New Lecture Theatre at University of Papua New Guinea. Mr. Orere explained about the Japanese development assistance, the preparation for 2020 Tokyo Olympic/Paralympic and Japanese diplomacy in the Asia-Pacific region based on his visit to Japan early September this year under the Japanese Foreign Ministry’s invitation program. The audience commented that they now have better understanding of Japan and like to see more seminars of this kind in the future.
