The project for Reconstruction of Bridges on New Britain Highway

This project comprised the reconstruction of Aum Bridge and Kapiura Bridge which have been closed due to damage caused by the collision of heavy vehicles loaded above their carrying capacity. The reconstruction of both bridges used sophisticated coffering Japanese technology for large-scale bridges, Aum and Kapiura Bridges are expected to facilitate the transport of palm oil products and contribute to not only the provincial economy but also the national economy as a whole. The two bridges will also provide people with improved access to basic services.
