Welcome Event for JMSDF Ships “Shiranui” and “Yamagiri” in Port Moresby

On March 11, a welcome event was held in Port Moresby to welcome the visit of Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ships “Shiranui” and Training Ship “Yamagiri” as part of a goodwill visit to Papua New Guinea.
The event was attended by Mr. Shinichi Tamamitsu, Chargé d'Affaires, Japanese residents in PNG, and members of the Papua New Guinea Defence Force, who warmly welcomed the ships and their crews.
