On the 5th of February, Ambassador MOCHIZUKI signed three（3）grant contract for the Grant Assistance for Grassroots Human Security Projects（GGP）scheme for PNG in FY2025, with representatives of the recipients from, Sainte Village in Sandaun, Koglai Primary School in Chimbu and Sarakolok Primary School in West New Britain at the Embassy of Japan in Port Moresby. The above mentioned assistance will be used for the construction of classrooms and water tanks that are needed for the improvement of educational and living environments.
At the occasion Ambassador MOCHIZUKI stated," I sincerely hope that all these projects will be well maintained after their completion and remembered as a symbol of the friendship between the people of Japan and Papua New Guinea in the years to come. It is my hope that beneficiaries of these projects will play an important role in the development of the country and in the furtherance of the cordial relationship between the two countries. "
