Visit of Japan War-Bereaved Families Association Delegation to Papua New Guinea

As a Private Memorial Monuments Survey Project, a delegation of the Japan War-Bereaved Families Association visited Papua New Guinea from 16 to 24 November. The delegation consisted of:

• Mr. Toshiei Mizuochi, President
• Mr. Atsushi Shigei, Deputy Director-General

During the mission, they conducted surveys of privately erected memorial monuments, including inspections on Bougainville Island. Second Secretary Mr. Murakami, from the Embassy accompanied the delegation for the Bougainville segment of the visit.
