Reception for Japan-PNG Cooperation of Education

On Thursday, 25 September, Ambassador Mochizuki hosted a Reception for education professionals to celebrate the development of Japan-PNG cooperation in the field of education.
This reception was held on the occasion of the visit of Mr. Koji Oikawa, a Japanese language teacher who is actively teaching worldwide. He performed his Japanese language lectures at a local school.
In his speech, Ambassador Mochizuki stated that this year marks the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Japan and PNG, noting that cooperation in education has also steadily deepened over the past five decades. He expressed his gratitude to those present at the reception for their contribution to Japanese language education in PNG.
