Relief goods
On 5 July 2024, Ambassador Watanabe attended a handover ceremony for the provision of Japan’s relief goods for the landslide damage in Enga Province with International Organization for Migration (IOM). The Government of Japan has contributed US$1 million to IOM which procures and delivers foods, tents, and hygiene items to the affected areas.
