Announcement of Japanese Government (MEXT: Specialized Training College Students) Scholarship for 2025
 
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan offers scholarship for 2025 to Papua New Guinean students in the following category.
 
●Specialized Training (Diploma level)
 
Applications in a sealed envelope shall be accepted 
Neither e-mail nor fax application is accepted. ※Closed 
 
Selection shall be carried out in three phases.
1st phase: Document screening (in PNG) (Jun/2024)
2nd phase: Exam and interview (in PNG) (Jul/2024)
3rd phase: Final screening at MEXT HQ (end/2024)
* Expected time of each phase is subject to change.
 
1st phase shortlisted candidates ONLY shall be contacted by the embassy around the end of June together with notification of the dates for exam and interview which will be conducted in the beginning of July.

-Those who are interested and wish to apply for are kindly requested to read the guideline very carefully and prepare the application documents as required.
-It should be noted that incomplete applications will not be evaluated and will be disqualified. Every year, many applications are disqualified due to lack of required application documents, insufficient academic transcript that does not cover the required period, lack of recommendation letter, etc.
-As for the medical certificate required in the guideline, it is only required for those who advance to exam/interview phase.
