Signing Ceremony for The Project for the Provision of Equipment for Digitization of UPNG

On February 22, 2024, Ambassador Watanabe attended a signing ceremony at the Michael Somare Library of the University of Papua New Guinea in Port Moresby for the project to provide digitalization equipment supported by Government of Japan. The Michael Somare Library has a wealth of cultural assets such as books and journals, and it is expected that students and researchers will be able to access a variety of information by reading these cultural assets with a dedicated scanner to be installed in this project and creating an electronic archive.
