2023 Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). Application period starts from 1 March to 14 April.

JLPT was launched back in 1984 as a reliable means of evaluating and certifying the Japanese proficiency of non-native speakers, which has taken place in Papua New Guinea since 2021. For the further detail please refer to the description below. Those who are interested in learning Japanese are welcome for the opportunity.
 
(1) Details of the Test
・Date: 2 July 2023 (Sun)

(a) Sendai Ikuei & Sogeri Japanese Language Center, Sogeri National High School

(2) Application procedures
  ・Application period: 1 March to 14 April 2023
  ・Application forms are available from the three registration sites below.

  ・Applicants are required to select the level of proficiency (N1 to N5) for the test.
     Levels of proficiency and their fees are shown below, and are not refundable:
       N1 (ability to understand Japanese used in a variety of circumstances): 200 Kina
       N2 (ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations, and in a variety of circumstances to a certain degree) : 100 Kina
       N3 (ability to understand Japanese used in everyday situations to a certain degree): 60 Kina
       N4 (ability to understand basic Japanese): 45 Kina
       N5 (ability to understand some basic Japanese): 45 Kina
  ・Application is accepted with the payment of the fee.
  ・Application by emails or online payment is not acceptable.
