Public Offering for 2023 Japanese Government Teacher Training Students Scholarship

The Japanese Government (MEXT) under its scholarship programme is offering a Teacher Training Student Scholarship to Papua New Guinea teachers in primary, high schools and secondary schools wishing to conduct research on school education at designated universities in Japan.
The requirements are as follows:
1) Applicant must be born on or after 2 April 1988.
2) Applicant must be a graduates of universities or teacher training schools.
3) Applicant must have worked as teachers at primary, high schools, secondary schools or teacher training schools (excluding
university) in their home country for a total period of 5 years.
4) Applicant must be willing to learn Japanese Language.
5) Scholarship period is between October 2023 and March 2025.
6) Relevant documents can be obtained from the following URLs:.

7) Application forms completely filled in together with the required documents must be submitted in a sealed envelope to the
Embassy of Japan no later than 10 February 2023.
NB: a medical certificate shall be required only at the time of exam and interview.
