Mr. Shinichi Maruo, Chargé d'affaires of Embassy of Japan, attended a graduation ceremony of the Port Moresby National School of Excellence

On 17 November 2022, Mr. Maruo, Chargé d'affaires of Embassy of Japan attended the graduation ceremony of the Port Moresby National School of Excellence, one of the leading national high schools in PNG, and delivered a congratulatory speech to 291 graduates. The school, which was established in the 1990s with Japanese ODA has a strong tie with Japan as it accepted Japanese volunteer teachers for Japanese language, and recently took part in the Tsunami Summit organized by the Japanese government.
