On 5th October 2022, Ambassador Nobuyuki Watanabe paid a courtesy call on Hon. Don Pomb Polye, the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology and Sports. They discussed broad issues regarding education, sports and human development and reaffirmed the further strengthened bilateral relationship between Japan and PNG.
