Ambassador Watanabe attended a reopening ceremony of the Manus Fisheries Centre

On 25 April, Ambassador Watanabe attended a reopening ceremony of the Manus Fisheries Centre. The centre was equipped with refrigerators, ice machines and trucks provided by the Overseas Fisheries Cooperation Foundation (OFCF) of Japan. OFCF announced to start a new technical cooperation pfoject in May, under which the experts of OFCF will provide fish processing techniques including fish smoking mailny at this centre. It is expected that the techniques and experiences cultivated in Japan will be utilized in Manus.
