Ambassador paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister O’Neill

Ambassador of Japan to PNG, H.E. Satoshi Nakajima paid a courtesy call on Hon. Peter O’Neill, CMG, MP, Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea on 14 September, 2017.  Ambassador Nakajima congratulated the Prime Minister on assuming his post again.  They discussed matters of mutual concern such as Japan’s cooperation with PNG and other pacific island countries through Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting (PALM) process, support for 2018 APEC, further enhancement of economic, trade and investment relations as well as economic cooperation.
