Ambassador Nakajima and Minister Maru visited Port Moresby Sewage project site

Ambassador of Japan to PNG, H.E. Satoshi Nakajima and Hon. Richard Maru, Minister for National Planning and Monitoring visited the Port Moresby Sewerage System Upgrading Project on 4 September, 2017.  The Joint Venture of Dai Nippon Construction and Hitachi is working on the project.  Minister Maru acknowledged the significant progress of the project and stated that the PNG government will meet its obligation to fund the project.  Minister Maru also expressed his intention to have the project completed before 2018 APEC and opened by the Japanese Prime Minister.
